Here's my best wedding photography 2019. It's been one hell of a year, we've been far and wide across the UK again with our furthest trips to Kent to the stunning woodland Dreys and North Devon to an intimate farm with the most amazing view.
Update: I've recently written about how to plan the best wedding for you. It has lots of tips about all things to do with weddings from trusted wedding suppliers.
2019 has been another great year! Becky and Rob's amazing day that saw Becky's son stealing the show and making us all laugh a lot.
Lorna and Rob's intimate wedding was brilliant. They put on such an incredible, intimate wedding that proved you didn't have to have it all to still have the magic.
Roz and Luke's fantastic day at Hodsock Priory was so good. Luke's nephew had me in tears. He stood up in front of the whole wedding party and spoke about how amazing his Uncle Luke was!
We were laughing and smiling all day at Hazel Gap Barn for Helen and Myles' stunning summer wedding. Myles is simply hilarious, and he is so smitten with Helen that it's amazing to be around. Their wedding was my first of the year at Hazel Gap Barn.
I finished the year off at The Ashes Barns in Stoke-on-Trent and we couldn't have been luckier. The sun was shining all day for Lindi and Dave and although it was cold, we had such a great day!
Like my best wedding photography of 2018, I'm going to pick my favourites. I've had to expand it to my best 9! It's so difficult to choose this year but I've had fun writing this so here goes; My best wedding photography 2019.
I cannot thank my couples enough for allowing us to share their incredible days with us. Go to the bottom of this page If you can't wait to see the video of all of them.
Just this.
I absolutely love this shot, if I could use one photograph to describe what I love about my job, it would be this one. A genuine pure moment between two people who are besotted with each other!
Katie and Jonah got married at the Grace church in Nottingham. We went onto the beautiful Walled Gardens in Beeston for their reception.
Let's dance!
2019 has been full of dancing and these guys nailed it! Helen & Myles' wedding at Hazel Gap Barn was just so much fun. You'll find quite a few of from their wedding down below in the best of the rest.
Hazel Gap is the perfect rustic venue. It's a converted barn, situated outside the little village of Budby, North Nottinghamshire. It's the perfect setting for any wedding with stunning grounds and incredible food.
2019, you rocked.
I love to tell the genuine story of couples' days. More often than not, this means I'm just being present and not interfering. There are real moments of interactions that I love to capture. Here's the stunning Holly and her bridesmaids' at Little Knowle Farm in Devon.
The goofier the better.
I love this because it's a real moment. My couples trust me to capture them as a couple. They know I'm looking for genuine moments over stages shots. This is why I've had to put it in my best wedding photography 2019.
The setting sun over The Ashes Barns is just incredible. We were so lucky to have such a bright day sandwiched between two full days of rain.
Ending 2019 in style.
Kayleigh & Christian got married at the end of the year at Hazel Gap Barn. It was such a relaxed and fun day. I can't tell you how much I love winter weddings like these. The guests are a joy, the staff are always on hand and if the weather holds, we'll brave the outdoors for shots like these.
Oh, only a Helter Skelter.
Gemma & Adam's incredible outdoor wedding at the Dreys in Kent was off the charts. They hired a Helter Skelter for their day and it was amazing!
I had to get onboard and I love these shots!
Their wedding was sooo good and I can't thank them enough for having us along. I was in no doubt that this wedding would make it into my best wedding photography 2019.
Funny as!
Eleri Tunstall second shot for me for Helen & Myles' amazing wedding at Hazel Gap Barn. While The Wedding Filmmakers were doing their thing, we caught Helen & Myles goofing around and looking amazing!
Father of the Bride.
Sometimes showing a series of images speaks for itself. The way Lindy's dad reacted to seeing her walk down the stairs for the first time was overwhelming. I love these shots, there's always so much emotion just before the ceremony.
The best wedding speeches of 2019 (probably).
I love speeches so much, I've been lucky to have been present for some really funny and heart-felt moments.
Roz & Luke got married at Hodsock Priory and their best man's speech was an absolute riot. It was embarrassing for Luke, really well delivered and had the whole room in stitches.
Connections Shoots.
2019 was another year of amazing connection shoots. They are designed to help you get the very best from your wedding photography and put you at ease for your big day.
Gemma & Adam's incredible walk around the city was on a really hot day. I'll never forget taking a break at the Penny Lane bar which offered much needed shelter.
Lindi & Dave invited me to Delamere forest during the Autumn for their great Connection Shoot. I've never been there before and I loved every minute of it.
The Hudson 60 steals the show.
My own photobooth really came through for us at our own wedding this year. It really reminded me why I own it and why it's great at weddings. It creates amazing memories for all the guests and connects all ages.
Just look at the state of us! This is the only shot my wife and I got of us together in the booth. We decided to set it up the following day,
and we look a right mess! It was sooo much fun, and we love it so much we've even used it for our 'Thank You' cards.
I've worked with some amazing suppliers this year, some I've worked with before and respect a great deal and some new whose work has blown me away. Their amazing hard work and efforts, really made these incredible weddings come to life.
