This photograph is everything. It's a grandad, watching his granddaughter get married through the window. Lockdown, 2020. He couldn't be inside. He knew I was there, he just wasn't thinking about me. No one lined it up. No one asked him to look that way.
That's documentary wedding photography in one frame. The moments that just happen, when people stop performing for the camera.

Real moments, anticipated
I won't take over your day
A calm presence, always on hand
Sixteen years of weddings means I know what's about to happen. The hug after the first kiss, the laugh during the speech. I'm already there.
Your wedding isn't a photoshoot with a wedding wrapped around it. It's your day, your people, your pace. I work around all of that, never the other way round.
I'm there for the moments that matter, but I'm not in your face. You'll know where I am if you need me, and you won't notice me when you don't.
Be yourself; I believe it makes for better photographs! It’s my job to bring out the real you in front of the camera.
Don't look at me!! I'm only partly joking with this. Most of the time I want to be a fly on the wall, but you know what they say about rules... Let's keep the photographs timeless by capturing real candid moments between the two of you.
Use this time to get away from the hustle and bustle of the day. Take 5 and breath. You just said "I DO" to your best friend in front of your loved ones. It honestly doesn't get much more amazing.

"Dan was brilliant. - relaxed photos and memories of our day that feel like us"
FRAN & COLIN
My approach is simple: no awkward posing, no directing the day — just honest, relaxed storytelling that captures everything you felt, not just what it looked like
